Tlachichuca is a region located in the state of Puebla and is the closest town to the Pico de Orizaba National Park, best known for its imposing dormant volcano Citlalt\u00e9petl and for its frequent mountaineering-oriented eco-tourism.<\/div>\n

The Eco Hotel Tlachichuca project is located at the foot of the volcano, in a wooded area, but with low tree density. Its location and topography privilege the views of the volcano. This situation was of utmost importance in the creative process since we developed a guiding axis that divides the property in two from one end to the other. This axis is completely linear without reaching organic forms, this proposal is based on three situations: first, the view of the volcano is never lost; second, the axis functions as a distribution path to all the spaces of the hotel; third, the path is an analogy of the journey that a climber goes through, taking into account that mountaineering, in its simplest form, is to get from point A to point B, being a linear path despite the fact that the topography makes it organic.<\/p>\n

The architectural program is organized by two entrances that frame the volcano, where 8 cabins, a main pavilion with swimming pool, restaurant, multipurpose room, terraces, bathrooms, infirmary and wine cellar are located. For the outdoor areas, heated water bodies and an area for meditation were proposed.<\/p>\n
