This is an exploration of the experience of living in a small house located in a high density area. The house offers us a serene discourse and deeply connected with nature, breaking that physical barrier between exterior and interior.

Shibuya House is a one-family home project located in Tokyo, Japan. This project was developed for a young couple, within a 36.75 square meter property in one of the areas with the highest added value in Tokyo.

The scene tells us about two scenarios: one interior and one exterior; on the outside, the house simulates being sustained by its vegetation and on the inside there is a natural atmosphere, isolated from urban chaos. In particular, the vegetation works as a fence that breaks the relationship between public and private. The height of the plants is according to the different visuals of the human scale.
